Samsung Galaxy S22 FE May Be Canceled, No Future Fan Editions: Report

The Samsung Galaxy S22 FE, as well as the whole Fan Edition collection, may have been cancelled by the South Korean tech giant. With the release of the Galaxy S20 FE in September 2020, Samsung launched the Fan Edition (FE) range.

Since then, FE versions of the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Tab S7 have been released. Samsung‘s flagship products are generally toned-down versions of this series. With these FE gadgets, customers may get all of the premium features of a flagship handset for a little less money.

The Galaxy S22 FE has been cancelled, according to Sammobile. By now, multiple certification sites should have seen a Samsung handset with the product number SM-S900, which is thought to be the Galaxy S22 FE.

Its absence indicates that the corporation has no intentions to introduce a new FE gadget soon. According to the source, the corporation may discontinue the FE line entirely.

The Galaxy S21 FE was released in January of this year, over a year after the Galaxy S21 range was released. Despite its late appearance, several rumours about the Galaxy S21 FE’s existence around the same time last year.

So yet, there hasn’t been much buzz about the Galaxy S22 FE. There have been rumours about the chipsets used in upcoming Samsung products. However, none of these sources provides helpful information about the Galaxy S22 FE.

Samsung was planning additional Galaxy FE variants of its flagship smartphones in 2020. In recent years, the corporation has reportedly struggled to find a home for FE-labeled equipment.

The Galaxy S21 FE’s debut was overshadowed by the Galaxy S22 series’ release just a few weeks later. This is said to have hampered the Galaxy S21 FE’s market performance.
