OnePlus Nord CE 2 with Dimensity 900, Launched in India.

OnePlus Nord CE 2: As we wait for the flagship OnePlus 10 Pro release in India, the company has widened its budget Nord line-up in India.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 has been launched on the market in India with a new design with the MediaTek 5G chipset and 64MP triple camera, and many other impressive features.

We’ll look at specifications, pricing, and details on the availability of the most current Nord device.

OnePlus Nord CE 2: Specifications

Beginning with the style, the design OnePlus Nord CE 2 comes with two distinct shades and features.

There are two options: the Mirror Gray colorway with a glossy texture, and its Bahama Blue color has an attractive design.

The back panel of glass was constructed using a one-shot injection molding technique, and it comes with the shape of a camera bump, which has two housings of varying sizes with a more miniature camera and an LED flash.

It has the exact triple camera setup similar to it on the Nord CE, its predecessor model, on this.

This means that you get the primary camera with 64MP resolution and an ultra-wide lens of 8MP, as well as a 2MP macro camera.

The front has the punch-hole camera, 16MP, equipped with EIS and Nightscape support.

Concerning its display size, the model is also identical to its predecessor, the Nord CE.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 includes the 6.43-inch High-Definition Fluid AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh and a touch rate of 180Hz.

The display supports 2400 x 1080p resolution and a 20:9 aspect proportion, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and an in-display fingerprint reader.

As you’ll observe in the photo below, similar to its predecessor Nord CE, the Nord CE 2 also doesn’t have an alert slider.

Under the hood, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G, a chipset with a 6nm process revealed last year.

There is also as much as 8GB of memory and 128GB of internal memory on board.

The latest addition is microSD cards (up to one TB) that OnePlus states that users who upgraded from phones with low budgets to the Nord phone would like.

In terms of the software, you’re going to be disappointed.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 is running Android 11-compliant OxygenOS 11 from the box.

Yes, the company is holding back on the most recent OxygenOS 12.2 update for the sake of stability, as was revealed in a private press conference.

But, it’s disconcerting to discover that OnePlus is offering an earlier version of OxygenOS on a device that was launched just six months since it was a stable Android 12 update rolled out on the market.

Additionally, the device will benefit from two years of essential updates to the software (Android 12, 13, and 12) as well as three years’ worth of security updates.

In addition, the device comes with a 4500mAh battery that has the SuperVOOC 65W fast charging technology.

Additionally, it comes with 5Gsupport, Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6, the 3.5mm headphone connector (which is rare), and a USB-C port in the area of connectivity.
