This week, OnePlus launched a new OnePlus Ace model in China (the OnePlus 10R in India and globally).
This is the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition, which has a new design, adjustments to the front camera, and other improvements.
Here’s a rundown of everything the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition offers.
Specifications and Features of the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition
The OnePlus Ace Racing Edition ditches the Realme GT Neo 3-inspired design favouring three large camera housings placed in a triangle, as seen on the iPhone 13 Pro.
This arrangement seems to be comparable to that of the OnePlus 10 Pro. It is available in two colours: grey and blue.
A punch-hole display (this time in the left corner) spans 6.59 inches on the front, which is somewhat smaller than the OnePlus Ace’s 6.7-inch display. A Full HD+ LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate, AI Eye Protection, and up to 600 nits of peak brightness is included in the Racing Edition.
The photography section is unique as well. The 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera are all included in the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition. A 16MP front camera is also included. Unfortunately, OIS is not supported. The alert slider is also missing from the list of missing items.
A 5,000mAh battery powers the device and supports 67W rapid charging. This is slower than the OnePlus Ace’s charging rates of 150W/80W.
However, both devices use the same processor. The phone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. ColorOS 12.1 is installed, which is based on Android 12.
5G compatibility, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, a 3.5mm audio jack, dual-SIM card slots, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity possibilities.
A side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Face Unlock, and an X-axis linear vibration motor. Twin stereo speakers, Hyperbooost gaming mode, an 8-layer cooling system, and other features.
