According to reports, OnePlus is working on a basic OnePlus 10 model powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. “Project Ovaltine” is supposed to be the codename for the smartphone.
The source did not disclose any other information about the handset’s features, although it will likely be released shortly.
According to earlier rumours, the smartphone includes a 4,800mAh battery with 150W fast charging capabilities and a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s also believed to include a triple-camera arrangement on the back.
In a tweet, tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) claimed that OnePlus is working on a plain OnePlus 10 model called “Project Ovaltine.” The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC is claimed to power the smartphone.
The source did not disclose any other details regarding the rumoured smartphone other than that it might be released shortly.
Specifications for the OnePlus 10 (expected)
According to a report, the OnePlus 10 will operate on the newest OxygenOS 12, which will be based on Android 12. A 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED touchscreen with 120Hz refresh rate and LTPO technology enabling variable refresh rate is believed to be included in the smartphone.
The OnePlus smartphone comes in two RAM and storage configurations, with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone was previously expected to appear in the second half of 2022.
A 50-megapixel main camera, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens are rumoured to be included in the smartphone’s triple back camera configuration.
The smartphone is believed to include a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The cameras are also likely to come with Hasselblad colour calibration.
