With the latest Adrenalin version 22.7.1 driver update, AMD has finally made its much-awaited Noise Suppression software available.
A teaser for this software was released on AMD’s YouTube page last week. This function, which effectively uses a real-time deep learning algorithm to decrease background noise, is considered by many to be a direct rival to NVIDIA‘s RTX voice (now RTX broadcast), which was introduced a few years ago to overwhelmingly positive reviews.
Here Is AMD’s New Noise Suppression Tool!
Because it functions similarly to NVIDIA’s offering, many people see this as a rival to RTX broadcast. AMD Noise Suppression essentially allows you to lower background noise from your surroundings when you’re on a call or in a busy gaming lobby.
You may select to activate AMD Noise Suppression on both your input and output devices under the “Audio & Video” tab under the Settings in the most recent Adrenalin edition software.
To use this capability, AMD has clarified that you must have at least a Ryzen 5000 series CPU or an AMD 6000 series GPU.
Improved OpenGL performance is a significant addition to AMD claims in the most recent Adrenalin edition upgrade. According to AMD, games like Minecraft, which largely use OpenGL, may see speed boosts of up to 90%.
Last, AMD has also declared that the RX 5000 and 6000 graphics cards found within AMD Ryzen laptops will now support the Radeon Super Resolution (RSR) functionality.
AMD’s Adrenaline software has an RSR option that is now compatible with the borderless full-screen option.
