Jak and Daxter Adaptation is in the Works

Sony is busy working with its TV and film divisions to modify PlayStation properties. For example, the author of the Deadpool film is developing an adaptation of the Twisted Metal show.

And the Uncharted movie will be released in the theaters on Friday. So it seems to be that the next show that Sony will develop is Jak and Daxter, in line with an interview that was recently conducted.

The Dynamic Duo Will Get Either a Movie or TV Show

In an interview on Digital Trends to promote the forthcoming Uncharted film directed by Ruben Fleischer announced that he’s working on an adaptation to Jak and Daxter. “I’m working on Jak and Daxter, a version of that, for PlayStation, which I think would be cool to bring to life,” the director explained to Digital Trends.

Before that, Fleischer was attached to a Spy Hunter film that adapted to the Spy Hunter video game series. Jak and Daxter is another game series by Naughty Dog, creators of the Uncharted franchise. It’s a game that features Jak and his animal friend Daxter as they set off their journey.

In the past, Tom Holland expressed interest in making a live-action Jak and Daxter film made by A24, which he describes as “really weird and like the dark.” However, it’s not known if he is involved in the upcoming version of Jak and Daxter.
