There are other features, too. One of them is Body Battery Energy Monitoring, which lets you know when it’s best to be active and best not to be.

The Garmin Vivosmart 5 has a feature called Hydration Tracking. It keeps track of how much water the wearer drinks each day and reminds them to stay hydrated. Auto hydration goals that change based on the sweat the wearers lose can also be set.

This goal changes based on how much sweat the wearers lose during their activities. Another feature is Respiration Tracking, which shows how the wearer breathes during the day.

It considers their chronological age, how much exercise they do each week, their resting heart rate, and their BMI or body fat percentage. Then, the company gives them advice on how to get younger in the gym, it says.

You also get a step counter, calories burned, distance covered, support for gym exercises and other sports, and help with other sports. The Garmin Vivosmart 5 has Bluetooth Smart and ANT+ built-in. The company says that the wearable can last up to 7 days on one charge.
