In the United States, the Garmin Vivosmart 5 fitness tracker has been released. Its price and availability have also been made public there. It has many different features, like monitoring body battery energy, tracking stress, tracking breathing and hydration, and figuring out how old you are in terms of health.

Customers can track women’s health, heart rate, sleep, blood oxygen level, and men’s health. Garmin says that the Vivosmart 5 can run for up to seven days on a single charge. The fitness tracker can be used with both Android and iOS phones. It has an OLED screen.

Garmin Vivosmart 5 costs $149.99 (about Rs. 11,500) and can be bought in the United States. There are two types: small and big. While the small model comes in Black, Cool Mint, and White, the large model only comes in Black. There is no word on whether or not the fitness band will be sold there in India.

Garmin Vivosmart 5 has an OLED screen with 88×154 resolution. As the company says, the small version fits wrists with a circumference of 122-188mm, and the large version fits wrists with a circumference of 148-228mm.
It has a Garmin Elevate heart rate sensor, a pulse oxygen saturation sensor, an accelerometer, and an ambient light sensor. People who wear Garmin bands don’t need to take them off when they go swimming, the company says.
Features on the Garmin Vivosmart 5 that help you keep track of your health include heart rate monitoring and blood oxygen tracking. You can also track stress, sleep, and women’s health.
There are other features, too. One of them is Body Battery Energy Monitoring, which lets you know when it’s best to be active and best not to be.
The Garmin Vivosmart 5 has a feature called Hydration Tracking. It keeps track of how much water the wearer drinks each day and reminds them to stay hydrated. Auto hydration goals that change based on the sweat the wearers lose can also be set.
This goal changes based on how much sweat the wearers lose during their activities. Another feature is Respiration Tracking, which shows how the wearer breathes during the day.
Wearers can use the Fitness Age feature on the Garmin Vivosmart 5 to see if their body looks younger or older than it is. It considers their chronological age, how much exercise they do each week, their resting heart rate, and their BMI or body fat percentage. Then, the company gives them advice on how to get younger in the gym, it says.
You also get a step counter, calories burned, distance covered, support for gym exercises and other sports, and help with other sports. The Garmin Vivosmart 5 has Bluetooth Smart and ANT+ built-in. The company says that the wearable can last up to 7 days on one charge.
