Battlegrounds Mobile India is only a few months old, but hackers have already hacked the game. PUBG game’s developer, Krafton Inc., recently announced that they had permanently banned 1,81,578 accounts in the period between August 6 and 12.
Their security system and community monitoring captured these accounts, the developers claim.
Battlegrounds Mobile India, like most multiplayer games, has stringent rules regarding hacking and cheating. Accounts that are caught cheating could face permanent bans or temporary account suspension.
The gravity of the crime determines the severity of punishment. Krafton published a list of prohibited actions a few days before Battlegrounds Mobile India’s official launch. The complete list can be viewed here.
However, Krafton recently announced that Battlegrounds Mobile India had exceeded 50 million downloads only in Google Play Store. Developers were given multiple rewards as part of the celebrations.
These rewards will be distributed across various tiers until the 50 million marks in downloads are reached.
Once players have downloaded the game more than 48 million times, players were able to obtain three Scraps of Supply Coupon boxes.
Players who crossed the 49 million mark received three classic coupon box cutouts. Players were awarded a permanent Galaxy Messenger Set when the game had been downloaded more than 50 million times.
Battlegrounds Mobile India was recently released on iOS. Players would also receive the same pre-registration rewards as Android users, and the Galaxy Messenger Set, part of the 50,000,000 download mark.
