Nacon Reveals Brand-New Terminator Survival Game

The Terminator film series translates well to video games, from NES side-scrollers to current-gen third-person shooters.

The character has appeared in Fortnite and Mortal Kombat 11. Teyon’s Terminator: Resistance was a Reef Entertainment-published first-person shooter.

Nacon is developing a game for this sci-fi brand, as revealed in a livestream.

Nacon’s Connect event showcased many games in development, including RoboCop: Rogue City, a first-person shooter developed by Teyon.

The event also announced that the team is developing a Terminator game with a unique plot.

Nacon confirmed that the game would be set after Judgment Day and before John Connor’s rebellion.

The game will include the franchise’s first open-world with survival aspects. The player will play as nuclear apocalypse survivors battling for survival.

The teaser trailer doesn’t show gameplay but sets the tone and conveys the Terminator danger. It features classical music from the series, including the theme tune.

Many fans hope this game will convey the horror of the wicked machines, and others believe it will reveal how John Connor’s Resistance is formed.

No release date has been announced for Nacon’s Terminator Survival Project for PC and platforms. Nacon also exhibited additional games in development by its studios, including Robocop: Rogue City.

Lord of the Rings: Gollum’s release date is September 1. Steelrising, a cybernetic souls-like action RPG unique to Xbox Series X/S, will also release in September.
